He married Anna Rosina Rauhut, daughter of Andreas Rauhut and Anna Elisabeth John, in 1836 in Reisen (Rydzyna), Lissa (Lezno), Posen. She was born on December 25, 1813 in Pawlowitz (Pawlowice), Lissa (Lezno), Posen and died on April 28, 1891 in Frankowo, Lissa (Lezno), Posen at the age of 77.
