Ms. Irma Martha Bond, age 94, of Trails End Road, Young Harris passed away on March 8, 2000 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Ms. Bond was born on June 8, 1905 in Philadelphia, PA., the daughter of the late Alfred Rauhut and the late Marie Mueller Rauhut. Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her husband, Zoland Bond in 1968.

Surviving are two sons and daughter in laws, Norman and Brenda Bond of Clearwater, FL., Edward and Carole Bond of Istachatta, FL., one daughter and son in law, Lois and Charlie Bowers of Young Harris, ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 10, 2000 at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Interment followed on Monday, March 13, 2000 in the Friendship Cemetery in Zolfo Springs, FL. In lieu of flowers, if you wish memorials may be made to the Union County Nursing Home in Mrs. Bond's Memory.
